Scholarships at Heritage College

һФһÂë×ÊÁÏ (һФһÂë×ÊÁÏ) provides Academic and Musical Scholarships to eligible students who display excellence in these areas when entering Years 5, 7 and 9.

Scholarships are designed to:

  • Encourage the enrolment of talented students to raise the overall academic standards across the school
  • Enhance the special focus which Music has in the college
  • Encourage high academic and music results and performances
  • Seek full enrolment levels
  • Provide for meritorious students whose families may not be able to afford an independent education
  • Provide leadership from students in maintaining the College’s ethos and extra-curricular participation
  • Benefit the College by encouraging diversity and attracting students of potential and character to be part of our community.

Available External Scholarships

Students in Years 4, 6 and 8 are eligible to apply for a scholarship and if successful will be enrolled from the beginning of Years 5, 7 and 9. Applicants must meet the following assessment criteria and conditions.

Scholarship discounts are capped at 50% of tuition fees after all other discounts have been applied.

When a scholarship is awarded to a student, it continues until the student ceases enrolment, subject to meeting the conditions of the scholarship.

There are three types of scholarships available:

  1. Academic scholarship
  2. Music scholarship for
  3. Principal’s scholarship (can be internal or external)

    Heritage College Sydney is a quality private school offering excellent facilities and some of the best learning programs on the market. However, although there are fees associated with this level of service, we have structured our fees to be very competitive compared to other schools of similar quality.

    Please contact the office to enquire about our fees and current scholarships on offer.

    Substantial additional sibling discounts apply for larger families.

    Early Bird Discount: An early bird discount may be available to fees paid in full by 31 December each year. Some Terms and Conditions do apply to this offer. Contact Esther Lepherd on elepherd@hcs.nsw.edu.au for further information about this. If you elect to take up the Early Bird offer you are able to pay directly to the HCS bank account. (Not via FACTS)

    What is included? Fees include tuition, bus transport, weekly sport, secondary lifesaving, primary swimming, College carnivals, secondary textbook hire, required calculator for secondary (first issue only), workbooks and some stationary items for primary. They do not include uniform requirements, excursion costs, individual photocopying, camps, or private music tuition.

    Application fee per student: $150. Two or more students from the family to start at the same time: $250 per start date. This fee is non-refundable.

    Payment Details: All tuition fee payments remitted are made via FACTS. FACTS is an online payment portal which allows you to pay in full at the start of the year, or in regular fortnightly or monthly installments. Families who choose not to pay in full by February of each year are required to sign up to an installment plan via FACTS. More information can be found here:

    All fees and charges are subject to review by the College Board, and are likely to increase year to year.Ìý The College Board may alter these conditions of entry at any time by notifying parents/guardians in writing.

    One term’s notice in writing of an intention to withdraw enrolment is required, or one term’s fee is payable in lieu.
